Creating a Moveable Mouth Image

 

  1. Google Drive > new Google Drawing
  2. Insert > Image > Search the Web
  3. Enlarge image to fill the frame
  4. Crop rest of checkered background
  5. Insert > Shape > Oval
  6. Resize to mouth shape/location
  7. Change color of shape to bright green
  8. Title your drawing
  9. File > Download > JPEG

Creating a GIF in WeVideo

 

  1. Project Bin > Add Media > Upload
  2. Drag image to timeline (top track)
  3. Double click on the clip to edit
  4. Keying > Click dropper > Select the green oval > Done
  5. +Add Media > Record
  6. Webcam (grant permissions if asked) > Record
  7. With your mouth close to camera and keeping your head still, move just your mouth for a few seconds
  8. Click on the recorded video clip and move/resize as needed to fit your mouth in the oval
  9. Adjust the beginning and end of both clips (2-5 seconds)
  10. Export (Title, Export as “GIF”, Google Drive)

Gale Elementary from Home:
1) Get a PowerLibrary E-card number.
2) Click this link to go to the PowerLibrary page
3) Scroll down and click on the Gale In Context--Elementary icon.

To use WB Kids:

  1. Click the link for WB Kids
  2. In the search box, type your explorer's name (make sure it's spelled correctly!)
  3. Click on an article to read more about your explorer.
