How to login to Google (students)...
All users of Google may login by simply going to https://google.com, then clicking the "Sign In" button at the upper right.
Student logins for Google Apps for Education (GAFE) follow a different format than their network user ID. Student user IDs in Google consist of their year of graduation, their first-intial and their last name, followed by "@tvsd.info" (example: 16jdoe@tvsd.info). Each student from grades 6-12 have been issued a GAFE account. The initial password will be "tv + [student ID number]" - they will be prompted to change the password upon first logging in. A typical TVSD student login and password will look like this:
User ID = 16jsmith@tvsd.info
Password = tv654321
How to request a Google account/login...
A teacher must submit a ticket to the Technology Helpdesk+ and choose Login > Google.
After you have logged-in to the TVSD Google domain (tvsd.info), click your apps launcher icon beside your account name :
You will then see the list of common Google apps (similar to the image at left).
